Custom Made Piece
Ordering a custom commissioned artwork, is a great option if you are looking for something particular to suit your unique space or you haven’t found that special painting to connect to in the collection.
I have worked closely with patrons to create pieces that satisfy their individual needs while maintaining my own artistic vision in the process. The result is a customized artwork that is a product of creative dialogue and sits beautifully in the space designed for it.
Required Information
Orientation
Chose how you would like to hang the artwork, landscape or portrait.
Size
Next big question would be the size that you are looking for. Make sure to consider the thickness you’d prefer as well. Please note that I typically work on large sizes, i.e. 80*100 cm.
You’re not sure what fits better in your space? Please feel free to email photos of your room and space measurements so I can help you with finding the perfect size.
Colour Palette and style
This step might seem a bit more difficult, since we are entering qualitative territories. I’d like to establish a base by asking you to send me two or three examples of my previous artworks that you most resonate with and from then on we can further discuss composition and dominant colour choices.
Ultimately, my work is quite free form and intuitive so please take into consideration that this input would be a starting point. The artwork that you’ll receive in the end will not be a copy or direct recreation of another piece but a completely unique one in its own right.
Process
After the initial consultation I will give you a delivery schedule and my earliest availability to start working on your order. I usually take 2 to 3 weeks to create a piece, depending on the size.
Deposit
In order to complete your order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to start of the work with the full balance due upon delivery or pick up.
adjustments
During the creation process I will email progress pictures and updates. There are up to 3 minor compositional adjustments included in the original quote and further changes are possible with an additional fee.
Lastly
Please note that there are no returns or refunds on commissioned artworks.
